The Technical Commission is responsible for the worldwide implementation and promotion of mountain guide training, professional development and quality assurance in our IFMGA member countries. Support for candidate and interested countries is conducted through assessments and observations to ensure applicants meet the rigorous international training standards and requirements. The current TC president is Kurt Walde.
